This past weekend, it occurred to me that God wants us to enjoy holistic success – success in every area of our lives. But, to move forward in this way, we have to deal with whatever may be holding us back. Sometimes, either past mistakes or things that were done to us cause hurt that remains unresolved. Or, perhaps our own hangups hold us up from springing forward.
I want to share some tips that will help.
First, it is important that we admit our own mistakes to walk fully in the holistic success that God has purposed for us. Bruce Lee once said, \”Mistakes are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them.\” Secondly, we must let go of the past but not our dreams. Hold on to your dreams and run tenaciously to grab hold of all that God has for you!
The writer of Hebrews 12:1b encourages us on this issue, \”Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.\”
So, on the one hand, when it comes to God\’s will for your life, deal with the past, and let the past go. On the other hand, do all that you can to hold on to your dreams and don\’t let go of them!
Get it all… your success must be holistic!
